From our experience since 2017 in swiftlet farming, building a comfortable RBW (swiftlet house) is actually the easy part — it’s simply about managing temperature, humidity, applying the right scent (especially for new buildings), and arranging the layout to allow easy maneuvering all the way to the roosting room.
However, the most challenging part is creating a sound system that delivers consistent responses throughout all seasons — from the entrance (LMB) and attraction areas (LAR) to the stay-in room. Choosing sound components that can truly trigger a swiftlet's natural instincts to enter and stay overnight is critical.
